I can't believe the nerve of whoever that bavardage person is. I mean I know Hogwarts has always been full of gossip, but to have it out there like this will do nothing but cause strife and bickering between everyone. All I can be glad about is that I was not mentioned. I mean from what I can gather I wasn't.
I am just going to enjoy Hogsmeade today. Marietta, Charlie, Mandy, all my other mates, care to join me today? Oh and Charlie, since we are going together maybe going shopping together for the ball would be a good idea. Plus I always enjoy your company.

I have been meaning to write in my journal since I got back to Hogwarts. I even opened it up a few times but never actually got around to writing. Seventh year has been busy with my NEWT classes and quidditch practices. I am quite looking forward to quidditch this year. I will make sure Ravenclaw wins this year!
But yes, besides all that I have been doing quite well. I heard about the dance coming up and how us females have to ask the blokes. It is an interesting concept. I haven't gotten around to asking anyone yet. I know I could just go alone, but what would the fun be in that? Plus, if I do go alone it will remind me how cursed I am and how I am now made to be single for who knows how long. I have been looking for dresses though and I have the colour down. I am probably going to wear a pale blue dress.
